Please join us for one of our favorite events of the year! We’ll hold our annual picnic in the Big Oaks Shelter at Westwood Park, New Castle, on Saturday, September 26. As the picnic is winding down, all are invited to join us for a leisurely bird walk.
Please bring a dish to share and, to reduce waste, please provide your own place setting and drink container. Drinks will be provided.
As with all RCAS events, you don’t need to be a member to attend, so this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with our chapter!
The park’s address is 1900 S. County Rd. 275 W., New Castle. After entering the park, go straight, toward the boat launch. The Big Oaks Picnic Area will be on your left, on the far side of the large parking lot.
NOTE: Admission to the park is $5 per vehicle.
