INDNR Nature Preserves: East Central Region

April 19 |  7 p.m.  | Nature Lab & Zoom

In April, Ryan Smith will speak about the Indiana Department of Natural Resource’s (INDNR) Division of Nature Preserves, with a focus on the preserves here in East Central Indiana.

Ryan will tell us more about these important preserves—like Munsee Woods, Smith-Crisler Nature Preserve, Stout Woods, Bell-Croft Woods, and others—and about what his job as the Regional Ecologist for the division entails.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m. and will be offered both via Zoom (register below) and in-person, at Ball State’s Nature Lab, located at 2500 W. University Ave. in Muncie. Parking is available on the south side of the building and is free after 5 p.m. The building is wheelchair-accessible.
