The largest park in Hamilton County should be hosting spring migrants for our walk on Saturday, May 21! Strawtown Koteewi Park, located west of Anderson, near the town of Cicero, offers more than 800 acres of varied habitats, including prairie restoration, wooded riparian, and meadow.
The park address is 12302 E. Strawtown Ave., Noblesville. From downtown Muncie, it’s a 50-minute drive; from downtown Anderson, it’s about 25 minutes. We’ll meet at the Riverside Parking area, on the north side of Strawtown Ave., west of the Natural History Center. (See map.)
